Boost Your Immunity

  1. Manage your stress and keep your spirits up. Google 1 minute meditations, listen to music you enjoy, call a friend, watch your favorite show, practice deep breathing.
  2. Drink enough water. About half of your ideal weight in ounces is a good goal for the minimum amount of water you should be drinking every day.
  3. Increase your daily vegetables. Focus on getting a good amount of leafy greens.
  4. Get out and take a walk. Breathe fresh air and get some exercise, even if it’s only 15 minutes.
  5. Take Vitamin D3. Many of us are low in this crucial vitamin that boosts our immunity.
  6. Close your mouth and breathe through your nose. Our nostrils and sinuses filter air as it enters our bodies. Our sinuses produce nitric oxide, which combats harmful bacteria and viruses in our bodies, regulates blood pressure and boosts the immune system.
  7. Eat less sugar and processed food. Replace the enriched protein powders and packaged foods with whole foods. Eating whole foods fills you with natural vitamins and nutrients that boost your immune system.
