The simple answer is, one.
Ideally you should only be oil cleansing once per day, in the evening. In the morning you can just splash some water on your face and follow with Klo serum. However, we understand this doesn’t always work for everyone’s schedule.
For instance, some of us workout in the beginning of the day. If you sweat heavily and use hair products you might want to oil cleanse immediately after your workout to make sure those hair products aren’t sitting on your skin all day. In this case you may end up oil cleansing twice a day and that’s okay. Just don’t forget to be gentle with your skin, and resist scrubbing too hard with the washcloth!

So if I workout in the morning but don’t use hair products, do I need to oil cleanse after my workout? Or is just splashing water on my face (either in the sink or in the shower) and applying the serum okay?

Yes, just splashing water on your face and using serum is exactly what I do after my workout. Perfect!
